Dan Sullivan introduces a powerful tool I now use before starting anything big: the Impact Filter.

Here’s a simplified version you can apply today:

 What’s the purpose? What result do you want, and why does it matter?
 What’s the ideal outcome? Visualize it. Feel it. Own it.
What’s the worst that happens if you don’t do it? Let that reality shake you awake.
What’s the best that happens if you do? Imagine how it changes your life, your business, your family.
What are the success criteria? (Specific actions or results that prove you’re on track.)

This exercise gives clarity before action so you're not spinning your wheels in anxiety or perfectionism. Instead, you gain creative traction.

Let Go to Grow

Finally, something crucial to remember as well:

When you focus too much on how, your imagination shrinks. Your time fills up. Your energy drains.
But when you focus on who, things accelerate. You open your vision. You delegate complexity. You create space for creativity and flow.

This is what leadership is.

The more you operate in your unique ability zone, the more your confidence compounds and so does your impact.
